(i don't think) you NEED to play Zombie Exodus to understand the story/lore of ZE:SH4. no DLC is REQUIRED to beat the game (execpt for part 2 of course) it just makes the game easier5. the rest of this review is incomplete. It's super sad that this game doesn't get new content because it's really well written and the story and characters are really interesting but well you can still play and enjoy it for a few hours.. Good game, choose your own adventure style from back in the day. Lots of options for general paths/choices and worth playing however be ready to wait for a good amount of time before you're going to see addition or sequels. Author is planning to move on to other endeavors after part three in this game and is currently working on part two completion. ie, 'the zombie exodus' out of the cities and how your character/group plans to survive.. Very immersive and detailed. Fine writing and fine gameplay. Recommended.. Amazing game! Every action you do always ends with a consequence. Highly recommend playing this game.. This is the second zombie story by this author and the first is still one of my favorite choose your adventure zombie stories. This is still in development but so far I'm liking it even better.. If you are a zombie exodus game fan you should get this game now .. If you're pretty patient, ready to read alot and liked 28 days later then I guarantee you'll love this.I've played for 7 hours over a few afternoons as of now and loved the experience the game created, and that was only Part 1 with my first character! Pros:- Alot of choice... ALOT.- Great character creation.- In depth characters, locations and scenarios.That's pretty much the condensed version of my pros list, the game offers alot more!. I don't usually write reviews but for a game like this I have to say its pretty damn good. The amount of customization you have for your character is freaking incredible. The story is well written and side characters are believable. The only bad thing I have to say about this game is that its only part 1 of 2. I can't wait for part 2.. If you are a doomsday prepper, play this and learn from it. A totally texting zombie adventure
